Join us for these upcoming events!

At JA, we host several signature events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming, as well as to engage the community in our educational work. Whether you’d like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, JA offers several ways for you to support our work and have a good time, too.

JA Bowl-a-Thon

Junior Achievement’s Annual Bowl-a-Thon event is JA’s biggest fundraising event of the year. Nearly 3,000 bowlers in communities across Oregon & SW Washington rally their employees to form five-person teams and come out to support JA! Each bowler raises pledges from friends, family members and colleagues in support of a great cause — you don’t even have to be a great bowler to participate!

JA Stock Market Challenge

This Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge brings the excitement of Wall Street to the Rose City! High School students participate in two volunteer-led classroom exercises that help them grasp the concepts they need to compete in the Stock Market Challenge. The event gives them a chance to practice those skills in a fun and dynamic environment

JA Summer Golf Classic

The annual Junior Achievement Summer Golf Classic is a traditional golf tournament with a shotgun scramble format. Event sponsorships range in price and include an event foursome and graduated levels of recognition. Limited to the first 144 golfers!

JA BizTown Summer Camp

An extension of our popular 5th grade program, JA BizTown Summer Camp is a dynamic, hands-on learning simulation that engages students ages 10-14 in the American Free Enterprise System. Exposing them to business, entrepreneurship, and financial planning, Camp is open to students all over Oregon & SW Washington. In addition to being a fun and exciting program, the camp focuses on workforce development, economic education and state-of-the-art experiential learning.

JA Next-Level Experience

Piloting in August 2017, JA NLX is an immersive learning experience for 14-17 year olds. Participants bridge their personal interests and skills to plan for their future success. While diving in to research-based traits of grit, curiosity, gratitude, and purpose that influence performance, participants will gain proficiencies in the areas of careers, personal finance and entrepreneurship.
