Now in my 20th year with Junior Achievement (JA), I am honored to lead the organization into its next chapter. As President & CEO, I have the privilege of working alongside and coaching an exceptional team across the state, supporting a wide range of opportunities and goals. JA is powered by a talented staff, a deeply committed Board of Directors, and strong community partners. Together, we proudly collaborate with dedicated educators and remain focused on expanding our impact for students across Oregon and Southwest Washington. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time fishing with my husband of over 30 years, working on puzzles, and spoiling our eight grandchildren.

Becca Black

As the ELC Site Manager in Portland, I ensure JA BizTown runs smoothly and provides a meaningful experience for students, educators, volunteers, and staff. I supports teams and partner with teachers to ensure every visit is engaging and successful. A former math and science teacher, Becca is a lifelong learner who enjoys reading and exploring local restaurants and coffee shops.

Suzanne Maddux

In my role as the Controller at JA, it is my responsibility to make sure all the finances are in order. I work with the leadership team, programs, and development to create fiscal year budgets, track progress and report back to the Board of Directors. Outside of work, I love to garden, camp, read, and take walks with friends.

Victoria Suhotin
Program Coordinator

As a Program Coordinator, I serve as a liaison, facilitating communication between schools, volunteers, and other constituents to ensure JA programs run smoothly. In my role as a volunteer coordinator, I enjoy building relationships and supporting volunteers in their efforts to make a meaningful impact within the community. Outside of work, I enjoy a variety of hobbies and can often be found exploring new interests or taking on new challenges, motivated by curiosity and a desire to keep learning and growing.

As the Development Coordinator I support fundraising initiatives, donor engagement and special events that support our organizations mission. Outside of work, I enjoy attending live sporting events support my favorite Seattle sports teams and enjoying the beauty the Northwest has to offer.

Jennifer Arritola
Senior Director of JA In-Class Programs

As the Senior Director of In-Class Programs, partnering with K–12 educators across Oregon and Southwest Washington to bring Junior Achievement programs into classrooms. She connects schools with community volunteers and prepares them to deliver engaging lessons that help students build financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship skills. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys traveling, spending time with family, relaxing by the pool, shopping, and reading.

Gina Huntington

As the Director of Operations, I oversee program management, implementation, training, and day-to-day operations, while also focusing on cross-team collaboration to ensure we are delivering high-quality, impactful experiences for our students. Originally from the Midwest, I’ve proudly called Portland home for almost 20 years. I love spending time with my husband and our two daughters, often on a soccer field, and embracing all the adventures the PNW has to offer.

In my role as the Site Manager, I work to ensure our JA BizTown and JA Finance Park programs run smoothly, spark joy, and create real-world connections for students. I recently moved from the Seattle area and am excited to get to know the greater Hillsboro community and explore everything it has to offer. Outside of work, I enjoy playing games, reading, doing puzzles, creating and experiencing art, and spending time with friends—and my cat, of course!

We want to make sure that visiting Junior Achievement is a smooth and exciting process for teachers, volunteers, and students, I am glad to be a part of that! In my spare time I enjoy reading, hiking, and exploring the PNW with my husband and three daughters.

As the Director of Development, I drive the development and implementation of innovative fundraising and organizational strategies, campaigns, and communication plans that support our strategic objectives. Not one to sit still, I, with my husband Tom, enjoy experiencing the natural beauty of the outdoors, taking road trips, hiking, camping, and trying the best farm to table restaurants.
