PacificSource Health Plans and Junior Achievement Celebrate Milestone Partnership
Portland, OR — Junior Achievement of Oregon and SW Washington is pleased to celebrate 15 years in partnership with PacificSource Health Plans, which is celebrating 85 years in operation. A grant of $5,000 from PacificSource is helping to provide Junior Achievement programs in Lane County this school year.
"We are so fortunate to have the ongoing support from PacificSource, as they are an incredible partner in providing local youth the knowledge and skills they need to succeed", said Greg Richichi, Chairman of the Advisory Board in Western Oregon. "The generous funding provided by PacificSource, combined with the quality volunteers who come from their organization, will allow us to impact more students throughout our area for years to come."
"This year alone, Junior Achievement programs will reach over 2,000 students in 90 classrooms across Lane County", says Junior Achievement District Manager Wendy Codding. "PacificSource volunteers are also participating in our upcoming Bowl-a-Thon by helping to raise funds toward Junior Achievement programs. We appreciate PacificSource’s continued partnership which helps make our programs possible."
"We are proud to have helped sponsor all the great work Junior Achievement has done in our community over the past 15 years," said Ken Provencher, president and CEO of PacificSource. "Their tireless dedication to inspiring and empowering young minds is a mission we are happy to support and we look forward to a continued partnership."
