Allstate Financial Literacy Week School Supply Drive

Portland, OR — From April 23 to May 31, 25 participating Allstate Agencies will be collecting school supplies to benefit the students of Junior Achievement, in addition to donating $25,000 to Junior Achievement’s Financial Literacy Program.

“Allstate is a strong partner in promoting financial literacy education through support of Junior Achievement. Junior Achievement appreciates Allstate’s support, and their donation will be used to promote financial literacy among young people,” says Junior Achievement President, John Hancock.

The $25,000 donation to Junior Achievement will impact nearly 1,000 students in 39 classrooms this year. Funding from Allstate will help provide K-12 programming in the areas of work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy to students across the region.

Junior Achievement helps students realize that the education they are getting today will help them to have a bright future tomorrow. Junior Achievement's unique, volunteer delivered programs, shows students the possibilities that lay before them. Students realize they can choose different paths including: college, trade school, or even starting their own business.

Stop by any participating Allstate Agency to contribute to the school supply drive, or contact Junior Achievement for more information about how you can support this effort.
